Here we are now! Entertain us!
I was going to make a big entrance with my first blog, but then I thought about it and I’m kinda like the opening act at a music festival at this point. Cheesman, Stroud, JD, and many others have a loyal following, while I’ve finally gotten my Marshall set up in the garage.
How’d I miss the tour bus? Well in early 2004 Stroud started talking to me about this new blog idea he had. Come on guy, it’s a message board, right? Before I had a chance to “get it”, in mid-’04 my Uncle called and needed my help. So, I was whisked off to Fort Benning Georgia where I was promised all of the 18 hour work days I could handle, as an Infantry Drill Sergeant – HOAAH!. Nineteen (19) months later I found myself back in the saddle at DirectEmployers and JobCentral with blogs everywhere! Okay, maybe they are more than just message boards.
I found myself dazed and confused during my first foray into the blogoshpere. There were people who obviously knew what they were talking about and others obviously not. Now I cannot confirm or deny which of those I am, but I can, and will, give my opinion as I would ask you to provide your own. As the quote on my header states “If everyone is thinking alike, someone isn’t thinking”.
In closing, I know you’re coming to the blogosphere really to see Joel “New Kids on The Block” Cheesman, Jimmy “Can’t Touch This” Stroud, and Jason “Karma Chameleon” Davis, but it’s my hope you’ll show up early for the opening act, Menudo.

Great site! Welcome to the blogosphere. – Jim
And now, The Chad…
Ring the bells and sound the alarm, Chad Sowash is now blogging
Welcome to the party! It’s almost better than a Saturday at The Shoe.
Jim thanks for the plug on 2.0 and Joel, as you can see I’ve brought my scarlet and gray.. GO BUCKS!
Hey, Chad. Nice goin’ on the blog and all the work you’ve done with JobCentral. It’s looking great!
Nice work Chad, now we can have even higher expectations of you…
Great start Chad! Looking forward to your insight.
Bob
This is gonna be great. You know there is no turning this off. Just kidding.
I was wondering why there was a blue moon! Congrats to The Chad…I look forward to reading your insights.
At long last THE CHAD can share his thoughts with the world. Granted, the world is proabably not yet ready for such amassed knowledge.
There is something about blatant truth absent any filters that will make the Recruit-o-sphere rise up and take notice. If they don’t, the Chad can administer one mean choke-hold…watch out.
Some words to remember: Morality is temporary, wisdom is permanent.
Congrats Chad!
I am proud to know that I was part of “Uncle” that called up this great man. I am sorry for taking him away from his family and the world of BLOG! So many things he has graced us with here in Fort Benning, and now he has the time and “two fingers” to share with the rest of the world.
Leadership is doing, talking is for consultants. Chad was one of the great leaders here for us. Good luck.
Your brother, John.
