Google expands into Newspaper?

“Print advertising joins efforts by Google to expand into radio and video ads, allowing it to move beyond its Web-search marketing business that delivers pay-per-click text ads on its own site and others and accounts for the bulk of its revenue.” - CNNMoney.com

After announcing Video and Radio advertising programs, Google jumps into the most traditional of advertising mediums, newspaper. This program could be a huge winner or an incredible loser, but at the end of the day Google is trying to break into new markets with incredibly progressive ideas.

Newspaper progressive? Providing a single app where companies can purchase newspaper advertising, across the nation, along with Radio advertising, Search Engine Marketing, and more. Yes that’s progressive. Did you know most radio stations receive their national ads via email in mp3 format? What about national newspaper advertising buys? Do they receive their ad art via email? Of course.

So, it really isn’t a stretch to think Google could help companies manage strategic recruitment advertising campaigns nationwide.

The question is are you ready?
