Let’s face it Google built a better mousetrap, which helped them dethrone Yahoo!, and smartly continue adding cool new services to stay the prominent de facto mousetrap. Kudos to them, but are there any new web 2.0 search engines out there trying to offer new cheese in their trap?

YouTube founders get 300+ mill each, 25 Web 2.0 search engines (profitable?) getting press. All we need now are some IPO’s and a Melorose Place revival and we’ll officially be back in the 90’s! Exciting and scary.
