Burger King struck pure advertising gold in July with the clever Simpsonizing of their commercials, which provided a 774% increase in site traffic. ComScore reports “The tremendous jump in (Burger King) traffic was attributed to tie-ins with the recently-released The Simpsons Movie.”
The end result is clever cross-promotion ads, below, and the ability to Simpsonize yourself, which gave Simpson’s fans more than enough reasons to visit BK.com and BK’s Simpsonize Me sites.
