DirectEmployers Annual Meeting 2009

The DEA Annual 2008 Meeting is officially over… (sigh)

What it was…
This year wasn’t the year of JGo calling Monster a crap product, it was the year Dan Pink, Carrie Domineguez, Rich Karlgaard and others gave brand new, never seen before speeches colored with many shades of the current economic crisis as it pertains to the workforce.

Highlights…
This year we announced a new tracking partnership with SimplyHired, SEO products distributed to all members free of charge and new customized SEO concepts in development. The Army Reserves announced a close parftnership with DirectEmployers allowing our members and JobCentral’s ability to push all member company jobs to their new portal.

Best of all, this year as always we met with old friends and talked about pushing the industry forward while creating exciting and suprising new friendships.

2009?
Today, DirectEmployers Association is 450 member companies strong and in 2009 you might think you feel techtonic movement beneath your feet, but it’s just a massive group of employers moving forward together.

Oh yea, if Tory Johnson offers $100 bill… Run to the podium.
