The Chad | Change The Online Recruiting Game

I’ve recently noticed the Cheezhead and HRSEO domains are redirecting to Jobing.

You might ask.. So what?

Well for those of you who compete with Jobing, all of the back links (aka Google Juice) your blog or site was giving Cheezhead and HRSEO are now providing the “CheezJuice” to Jobing, resulting in a healthy heaping helping of “link-love” for Jobing instead of the originally intended admiration or daily shots taken at Cheez.

None of this is a surprise, although if you were linking to Cheezhead.com you may way to revisit those links. (You can always point to Joel’s LinkedIN profile)

I would like to welcome Ray Schreyer to the blogging fray!

Ray Schreyer is Program Manager of Interactive Recruiting Channels for the IBM Corporation and Past President of the DirectEmployers Association. Ray has co-authored three books: “The Employer’s Guide to Recruiting on the Internet“, “Recruit and Retain the Best“, and “The Best 100 Websites for HR Professionals” all while playing many roles in the online recruiting world, starting back in the mid-90s.

Even though Ray has only been blogging for weeks, he’s already made fun of CareerBuilder’s ignorant spin, passed on his predications for ’08, questioned job board prices, lost his religion over resume databases and much more.

Ray has truly been a great source of information for me and the rest of the DirectEmployers Association for many years and I’m positive he’ll provide insight and/or validation for you too.

The set-up… I’m a regular reader of blogs in the UK and my main source is Louise and her UK Recruiter blog, Stroud-like blog-gregator, which houses tons of great blogs all in one place.
