Video grows online, YouTube jumps!
“Americans viewed nearly 9.5 billion online videos in November“. - comScore
A very impressive number although even more impressive is the fact that Google Sites, basically YouTube, has jumped 10 percentage points since May of 2007.

Homegrown baby, homegrown
There’s something to be said in the corporate world for companies that can successfully attract, retain, and especially GROW their own top talent. But imagine trying those tasks in the extremely volatile world of the National Football League.
“Of 22 Colts starters, none has played in a regular-season game for another NFL team. The Colts are the only team remaining in the NFL playoffs with no starters who have played for another team, an attribute Head Coach Tony Dungy said is by philosophy and design.” - By John Oehser, Colts.com -

Is your company cool enough?
“The first-ever Deloitte Film Festival invited all people of the Deloitte U.S. Firms to make short videos that answered the question “What’s your Deloitte?”. Teams comprised of one to seven people submitted films about their lives and experiences at the organization. Nearly 400 submissions were received and more than 2000 participated in the filmmaking process. ” - DeloitteFilmFest
So here’s the question… Would your employees take time out of their day to promote your company? or maybe even stay after work and choreograph a lip synched version of Flag Pole Sitta?
Oh I hear ya.. “What does a group of 20-somethings getting together after work and making a video have to do with my business?”
We’ll if you’re asking that question you’re already lost. Kinda like your parents or grandparents when you were a kid listening to that “Devil Music“. Remember those days? The days when you’d exclaim “If it’s too loud than you’re too old!“? I guess the only difference is that “kids these days” are using iPods, which means you have no idea what they’re listening too.
